  • unlimited phone, video, and email support to answer any questions and concerns

  • 24/7 on-call availability

  • physical and emotional support during labor, regardless of duration or your choice in pain medication

  • immediate postpartum support including initiation of breastfeeding (if desired)

  • postpartum visits to offer guidance and process the birth experience

I live in downtown Baltimore, and can travel to meet you within the Baltimore area. I've worked with clients birthing at Mercy Medical Center, Johns Hopkins Hospital, University of Maryland Medical Center, St. Joseph’s Medical Center, and Greater Baltimore Medical Center.

Birth planning consultation

Looking for clarity and confidence as you prepare for birth? This consultation is designed give you the information, support, and space you need to explore your options and what matters most to you. Whether you're just beginning to think about your preferences, or have specific questions in mind, our time together will give you a chance to reflect on your priorities.

We can use this time to:

  • talk through any one-off questions or concerns

  • dive into a structured discussion about your birth preferences

  • explore what evidence-based care looks like

  • identify what's most important to you during labor, birth, and postpartum

Rather than focusing only on writing a birth plan, my goal is to give you the resources you need, and the knowledge and confidence to make the decisions that are right for you.

Some topics we might explore include:

  • your options in a hospital setting, including which policies might allow for flexibility

  • any fears or concerns you have about labor, birth, or the postpartum period

  • things you can control, no matter how your birth unfolds

  • how your partner or support person can best show up for you during labor.

This consultation typically is two hours and can be conducted in-person or virtually.

Looking for something else?

I believe in "a doula for every person who wants one." If your needs are different, I can work with you to make that happen.
